Margo Diamond - Director

Margo Diamond joined Insight Recruiting as a Director with nearly 10 years of combined recruiting and financial services experience. Margo covers investment professional searches with particular emphasis on hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and investment management, primarily in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Prior to joining Insight, Margo was an executive recruiter with Heidrick and Struggles in the private equity practice.  Margo spent three years at Farallon Capital Management as an In-House Recruiter and member of the Investor Relations team.  Prior to Farallon, she was an Associate with Morgan Stanley covering hedge fund relationships in Prime Brokerage.  Margo started her career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth Management in San Francisco.

Margo graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in American Studies.  Margo competed on the Cal Varsity Swim team.  After graduation, Margo swam for five years on the San Francisco Olympic Club’s National and Open Water Swim teams, breaking a world record in masters swimming in the 200 meter medley relay.  She currently resides in Los Angeles and spends half of her professional time in San Francisco.
